Vito S. Scalisi is the founding principal of Scalisi Barristers. He is a specialist in construction law certified by the Law Society of Ontario.
With an impressive career in complex litigation spanning over three decades in Ontario, Vito has been a steadfast advocate for his clients both inside and outside the courtroom. His litigation experience covers all levels of the Ontario court system, including the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as multiple administrative tribunals and arbitrations.
Vito has substantial experience across various legal areas. His expertise spans construction, contract, and commercial litigation.
Vito recognizes the importance of mentorship within the legal profession, extending his wisdom and guidance to burgeoning lawyers throughout Ontario. He is an active participant in the Law Society of Ontario Coach and Advisor Network.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Vito is deeply committed to his community, assuming leadership roles at Saint Vincent de Paul, among other initiatives. Despite the occasional aches and pains, he is devoted to maintaining an active lifestyle through "Old Timer" hockey and softball.
A passionate music aficionado, Vito collects vinyl records and loves live music. He also possesses a keen interest in guitars and is always on the hunt for a new addition to his collection.
